To me, art has always been about one thing: freedom.
I officially "started" painting at 18 when my mom signed me up for an oil painting class, but the truth is, my journey began years earlier, covered in glue and glitter at our kitchen table. Like it often does, life got a little too busy for a while, but at 35, I finally picked up a brush again—and I haven’t looked back since.
There is something so magical about the spontaneity of abstract work. I love the movement, the raw emotion, and that unpredictable moment when a painting decides what it wants to be, regardless of my original plan. My process is intuitive, energetic, and—if I’m being honest—usually a little messy (which I consider part of the magic).
To date, I’ve sent over 100 of my pieces off to live happily in private collections, which still feels like a dream. Now, creating from my home in Oklahoma, I show up to my canvas every day with the same simple belief: that making art should be a joyful, curious adventure and FUN !!!! It truely makes me smile !!

"Let It Rain,"
(Not For Sale)
I created this series for my husband. One day, he mentioned how cool it would be to have a custom piece painted just for him. When I asked what he had in mind, he immediately said, "A rainforest." Voila!

Part of "Let It Rain"
(Not For Sale)

"WOW"
Painted on April 12, 2024, this piece was the spark that ignited my love for watercolors. It inspired me to start creating hand-painted greeting cards that very same day! Bringing this much joy into my process has been wonderful, especially as I launched my first year of handmade Christmas and Valentine's cards. So much fun!

"The G"
I love it when a client says, "Here are my colors—now go for it!" This commission piece was all about that raw, intuitive energy. Having total creative freedom is exactly how I do my best work, and "The G" is the vibrant result of that trust.

"All That"
This piece was a journey of layers. After several different paintings lived on this single canvas, I added a burst of color—and realized it wasn't quite right. I started "sloshing" white paint over it to start fresh, but then I saw it: the perfect balance. I stopped right there, and now it’s one of my absolute favorites!

"Tulip Fun"
I painted this in 2020 while the world shut down, I played.
